Advice Column: Ask an Overly Suspicious and Paranoid Girlfriend

June 30, 2015 | By | Reply More

Q:  Dear Overly Suspicious and Paranoid Girlfriend…My fiancé and I are due to be married this August. The planning is going great, with “Greg” participating every step of the way. I love his family and they love me…in fact, sometimes I think that my family loves Greg more than they love me! But all kidding aside, sometimes I feel a slight disconnect from Greg when he gets home from work. He’s fine again after dinner, and is his loving self again. So even though he is head-over-heels in love with me, I have to admit that it bothers me a teeny bit. What do you think it is?

A:  Katie…He’s cheating on you. I’ve seen this a million times. He is “head-over-heels in love” with you? You are kidding yourself. Although I don’t know the details of your relationship, I can guarantee you that he has slept with between twenty and twenty-five whores, many of whom are your friends. That is harsh to hear, I’m sure, but it is in your own best interest that you quickly accept the fact that your fiancé is a cheating bastard. All of them are. Is he showing you affection? Does he listen when you speak? Does he demonstrate the utmost respect for you? If your answer is yes, then why? What is he trying to hide? There’s no such thing as a free lunch, Katie. He may seem like he is your soul-mate, but he isn’t. Don’t believe me? Check his texts. Go into his Facebook messages. Take a look at his call history. He’s cheating, Katie. Dump him. Cut him loose. You don’t need the heartache.
